Named after the river Our, this chalet embodies nature and freedom.
The river Our has its source in the east of the Hautes Fagnes region in Belgium, from where it flows south, roughly following the border between Belgium and Germany. The river then forms the border between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Germany, where it meanders through the renowned Our Nature Reserve, which also bears its name.
The landscapes it spans have retained their original character, with sprawling woodlands and valleys.
The Our Nature Reserve is a sanctuary for exquisite flora and fauna and will delight even the most experienced hikers. It offers a variety of footpaths and cycling trails for you to discover.
The most breath-taking path cuts across the horseshoe bend in the river Our upstream of Vianden, along the artificial lake and hydroelectric power plant. The Our joins the Sauer in Wallendorf, 78 km from its source.
