Each of our chalets has a personal touch. Patron of this chalet is the Alzette. From its source in France, it flows to the north and runs through the south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It flows amongst others through the Minette-city Esch / Alzette, through the locality Hesperingen, then runs through a spacious basin and flows through the capital Luxembourg-City in a narrow valley with the districts Grund and Pfaffenthal. The most modern bridge over the river is the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge. Finally, the Alzette (or Uelzecht, as they say in Luxembourgish) flows into the Sauer in Ettelbrück, 73 km away from its source.
