Each of our chalets has a personal touch. Patron of this chalet is the Sauer. The Sauer (French Sûre) is a 173 km long, left-sided tributary of the Moselle, which rises in Belgium, flows through Luxembourg and forms the border between Luxembourg and Germany for many miles. In Wasserbillig the Sauer flows into the Mosel. Located in the southern Ardennes, this meandering river is the largest tributary of the Mosel with an average water flow of almost 54 m³ / s. In the upper area, the Sauer feeds the largest drinking water reservoir in Luxembourg, the “Stausee”, which is dammed by a dam near Esch-sur-Sûre. The Sauer stands for health, nature and freshness.
